Hong Kong Temperatures
So you have always heard about HK, but never visited it, or are some what gloomy as to what you can do in Chinese town. What is the food going to be like, the people, the culture, the 'hong kong temperature' and most important of all what the heck will you do there? Well, these instincts are normal, but not true. You see, I have always just heard about HK and its progress in their infrastructure and design, but never had I imagined it to be my favorite town in the world. I'm not Chinese, neither did I have any Chinese buddies convincing me to go. I always knew that I wanted to go to China to experience their culture, food and to especially find out what makes them so unique and different in the world. So, I booked a flight to HK and next the thing I knew, I was in HK in the scorching hot summer with temperatures skimming over 32 degree and 95% humidity. Words unfortunately have boundaries ; photos can only give you a sense of how a town is, but when you actually live in town of HK the experience is bind blowing. You have got to be there experience the harbor View towards HK Island, you have to be there to experience the climb to'the peak' to see the entire view of the stunning town of HK, you have got to sit in the ferry to smell the sweet air and most vital of all you have to be there to experience the hong kong temperatures.
Now before I left to Hong Kong, just like any travel, some research and planning desires to be done about the city. For instance, what type of attractions it has to offer, ways to say a few phrases in Cantonese so you can get round the town and most vital of all, the Do's and the Don't's. After endless looking, I finally discovered a perfect internet site by a student who went to varsity of HK to study for one month from University of Toronto. His website has some incredible pictures of the way of living in HK, all the skylines and all the cool places he went to, plus his personal blog with his experience and recommendation. I must say, the way I saw HK and the experience the scorching hot HK temperatures was exactly like it was displayed in his photos. Folk just relaxing on the side of the roads, tons of construction workers just working around the clock and variety of food offered by different street sellers. If your interested in visiting HK, then visiting his site is essential and even if your not particularly interested in HK, then just checking out the town is still a thrill!
