I recently went on a holiday to Canada. I know that doesn't sound technically correct. In a way i did. Basically I wanted to rent out a car and drive from Vancouver to Winnipeg. We had three areas in mind across Canada that we had to visit. A stop off in Calgary.
So I started in Vancouver. I wasn't expecting to see this city like this, i had read a lot about it as well. This city is different to any other in the world. Surrounded by snow and green trees with little iceberg tops, this scenery is stunning. You wont be able to get bored here, we found all kinds of things to do throughout the day and night. What a way to start our Canada tours. As a further note i have arranged for Vancouver holidays for the rest of my staff as well.
Then there is a 450 mile drive to Calgary, we decided to just go for it so we could spend s good amount of time in there. We drove through Kamloops on the way, but didn’t have enough time to stop. I was absolutely shattered, we arrived in Calgary and just went to sleep for a while. Lucky for us something called the Calgary Stampede was going on. This is a huge event that they hold annually and is often referred to as the Greatest Outdoor Show in the World. The best way to explain it is; this is a place for cowboys, then afterwards a nice circus event, where they have all kinds of dangerous acts. This is a holiday that anybody could enjoy.
We then embarked on our final 600 mile drive to Winnipeg. We had to go to the Millennium Library, one of the most famous in the world, filled with a huge array of books. We aren't a boring couple, but we did have to visit the Manitoba museum, there are also plenty of bars and night clubs to visit as well. Neither me or my wife think that we had been on a better holiday before this. Alaska Cruises also do something like the fly drive, only all you have to do is relax.
