Vatican

Vatican is a tiny country in Rome, Italy. As a country without border control, no visa is needed to visit Vatican. St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican city is the largest church in the world. Vatican Museums is amazing museum with huge collections. Pope Julius II founded the museums in the early 16th century. The Sistine Chapel with its ceiling decorated by Michelangelo and the Stanze di Raffaello decorated by Raphael are on the visitor route through the Vatican Museums. They are one of the largest museums in the world.

Must Do

1. Visit St. Peter's Basilica (free admission) first thing in the morning. I suggest tourists being there before 7:30 am. You will see a long queue waiting to get in.

2. Reserve and pay Vatican Museum ticket online (Credit Card Accepted) with a selected time.

3. Get a museum map. It is huge inside (54 galleries in total) with large collections.

4. Pay for an audio guide (10 languages).
